Converge® Polyol 212-10 in DBE North America
Converge polyol 212-10 in DBE Solution is a 1000 molecular weight polymer produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide blended with dibasic ester. Converge polyol 212-10 is an amorphous, linear, aliphatic polycarbonate diol. Carbon dioxide accounts for approximately 40% of the polyol mass. Applications: - Converge polyol 212-10 in DBE is a viscosity optimized blend for a variety of polyurethane systems. It can be used in the preparation of adhesives, foams, coatings, elastomers and TPUs. Features: - The aliphatic polycarbonate backbone delivers unique high performance to polyurethanes in terms of both strength and environmental resistance. In adhesive applications, it provides improved adhesive & cohesive strength and hydrolytic stability. In coatings, it delivers UV resistance and high hardness. It substantially increases the load bearing, tensile, and tear strength of flexible foams. Converge polyol 212-10 can also improve abrasion resistance.

Applications: - Converge polyol FF-1 is an optimized blend primarily for use in polyether based flexible slabstock foam. Features: - The aliphatic polycarbonate backbone delivers unique high performance to polyurethanes in terms of both strength and environmental resistance. In flexible foam applications, foams with excellent feel, fine cell structure, and improved load bearing properties have been observed. This product provides the capability to build load in foam without the use of styrene acrylonitrile (SAN).

Applications: - Converge polyol RF-1 is an optimized blend primarily for use in rigid polyisocyanurate and polyurethane formulations for boardstock, panels, and other rigid foam insulation. Features: - The aliphatic polycarbonate backbone delivers unique high performance to polyurethanes in terms of both strength and environmental resistance. In rigid foam applications, improved compressive strength and improved fire performance including lower smoke generation and lower heat of combustion have been observed.

NB-10 and NB-20 are polymers produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. They are amorphous, linear, aliphatic polycarbonate polymers. Carbon dioxide accounts for approximately 40% of the polymer mass. Applications: - NB polymers can be used as binders or additives to improve the properties of coatings or binders for high performance applications such as electronics, brazing, and ceramics where rapid decomposition and low ash content are advantageous. Features: - The NB polymers oxidize and volatize rapidly and uniformly into carbon dioxide and water with low ash residue compared to existing binders. Its negligible contamination makes it ideal as a sacrificial material for high performance applications. It decomposes rapidly and cleanly and is environmentally friendly. The NB polymers decompose at relatively low temperatures and are soluble in many common, low cost solvents including acetone and methyl ethyl ketone.
