Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE): CHEMIGUM®

Product Availability Product Description
CHEMIGUM® P35 Asia Pacific
Copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile (35%) KEY ADVANTAGES - Low compression set (LCS) thermoplastic elastomers (TPE's) can be tailor-made by blending in required amounts of Chemigum powder with low cost plasticized PVC at the end of the dry-blending cycle - In blends with P35 as the dominant polymer, LCS values of 40% or less can be obtained after deformation for 1 day @ 70°C (158°F) - Chemigum/PVC blends are recyclable - Resistance to abrasion and flex-fatigue - Chemical, oil & fuel resistant APPLICATIONS - Hoses, tubing, gasket & seals: auto, building, appliance & industrial - Can be used in snap-fit assemblies Additional Feature: Pre-crosslinked
CHEMIGUM® P615DS Asia Pacific
Copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile (33 %) KEY ADVANTAGES - Secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins in wet & semi-wet (solvent based) processes - Resistance to abrasion-loss, flex fatigue, oil, fuels, animal fat and other organic & inorganic chemicals - Reduces noise & vibrations during the service life of friction materials APPLICATIONS - PVC - Footwear - Brake linings, clutch facings - Cylinder-head gaskets - Injection molding: thin and thick sections Additional Features: Excellent Mechanical Stability Additional Uses: Vulcanised Cables and Friction Materials
