It also offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness, and flexibility. Texin 288ALW is an aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of approximately 88A and a reduced level of release compared to Texin 288. It can be processed by injection molding and some extrusion processes (i.e. sheet, tubing, profiles and cable). Properties / Applications: Texin 288ALW resin is characterized by excellent low-temperature properties and excellent fuel and oil resistance. It also offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. Texin 288ALW exhibits excellent adhesin when overmolded onto harder substrates (e.g. PC, ABS, etc.). It is also well suited for applications requiring post molding decoration or painting. Texin 8990AE also exhibits inherent resistance to hydrolysis, as well as outstanding clarity and flexibility. Texin 8990AE resin was primarily designed for photovoltaic applications, but can be used for applications such as coated fabrics, tarps and rain gear, optical lenses, flexible windows and outdoor signage.
