HALOX® 550 WF

HALOX® 550 WF by ICL is a water-free, sol-gel-based corrosion inhibitor and adhesion promoter. It is designed for corrosion protection in thin film coatings. It is recommended for the protection of water-based and solvent-based clear coats, glossy direct-to-metal coatings, and acrylic emulsions. It is recommended for polyurethanes, epoxies, epoxy esters, alkyds, water-reducible alkyds, PVB wash primers, and polyester resins. It is suitable for low pH and acid-catalyzed systems. The dosage level is 0.5-3.0% based on the total formula weight. HALOX® 550 WF has a shelf life of 12 months.
