Carmine is a bright red colorant required the labor of hundreds of subjects combing the desert in search of the cochineal insect. The colorant is extracted from the bodies of female insects, which may contain from 10% to 20% of their dry weight of the color principle chemically called: carminic acid. It is estimated that about 25 million insects are required to make 32 pounds of water-soluble extract.
ColorMaker specializes in non-certified "natural" colorants and supplies them in a variety of blends, forms, and dilutions. They can supply any colorant approved or not approved for use in the US. ColorMaker has been successful in replicating Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6 for water-based systems and they are available in powder form for dry beverages and for direct compression tableting.

Lists combine the ease of Bookmarks with the versatility of Tags. Instead of one collection of bookmarked items, create as many collections, called "Lists," as you need.
Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
