Vita Naturgel is a water-soluble natural thickener derived from specific kinds of brown algae and red seaweed (Rhodophyceae). The carefully chosen algae that make up this plant-based hydrocolloid produce remarkable organoleptic qualities and enhance the natural feel of cosmetic products. Vita Naturgel has been designed to replace synthetic thickeners that contain microplastics. This biodegradable and biocompatible ingredient has gelling, thickening, and stabilizing properties that allow the formulation to be smooth and creamy textures. In addition to all this, Vita Naturgel can suspend solid particles at only 1.5% concentration. It can be used for lotions, shampoos, shaving cream and gel, natural toothpaste, shower jellies, and body butter.
