It is an untreated, medium porosity silica. The pores of the silica are filled with water and consequently the water content is approximately 55 %. SYLOID® W 900 has been specially designed for water-borne systems, but may also find use in solvent-borne systems. It is mainly used in paper coating, especially for ink-jet paper, to improve the ink uptake. It can also be used in a structuring agent and as anti-skid aid in paint systems. veja menos |
