It is easily soluble in several organic solvents such as high alcohol, ketones, esters, chlorinated solvent, aromatic hydrocarbons, and white gasoline. PChem® MB-9-X can be used as its modifying agent, based on its good compatibility with middle/long oil alkyd resin. It is also compatible with chlorinated paraffin, PVC resin, and it offers admirable pigment wet-ability. PChem® MB-9-X is applied to alkyd modified coatings, metal coatings, and gilding material coatings (adhesive layer). It has a molecular weight of 50,000 g/mol, moisture content of equal to or less than 1.0%, acid value of equal to or less than 3.0 mgKOH/g, and an inherent viscosity of 0.23. 收起 | |
