The cycles between applications depend on application efficiency, curing time, curing temperature, tire construction and composition, and condition. Release modifier emulsions are available which, when blended with Silcolease ®PC-188 in incrementally higher levels, will give correspondingly tighter release force performance. Silcolease ® PC-188NXL is identical in composition to Silcolease ®PC-188 but without methyl hydrogen crosslinker.  As such, Silcolease ®PC-188NXL offers the flexibility to the formulator to modify the type and / or the amount of crosslinker to achieve specific performance characteristics. A 1% addition to the formulated bath will produce excellent anchorage even under high humidity conditions. SILCOLEASE PC-850 does not require excessive surface treatment of PET thus providing energy savings nor does SILCOLEASE​ PC-850 slow cure response as compared to other adhesion promoters.
