It is suggested to be used as a chemical intermediate for prepolymer synthesis and allows the incorporation of aliphatic urethane groups without the use of isocyanates. It appears as a viscous clear liquid and offers a low VOC, enhanced hardness, exterior durability, hydrolytic stability, QUV resistance, and is solvent and isocyanate free. This product is soluble in almost all organic solvents excluding aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. The only was to get aromatic solubility is to combine it with a hydrogen bonding solvent.
