Kalama® Potassium Benzoate is a high purity preservative for food and beverage applications with an effective combination of antimicrobial action, low cost, safety, and an excellent odor/taste profile. It is valued as a low-sodium preservative replacement for sodium benzoate, which also retains the preservation efficacy of benzoic acid. With a high purity level of at least 99%, Kalama Potassium Benzoate has little to no impact on formulation odor or color. It is a safe, effective solution for preserving foods and beverages, where it is typically used at 0.1%. Common applications include low-sugar jams, marmalades, jellies, alcohol-free beer, juices (carbonated or still), syrup, and cider. Emerald Kalama Chemical was acquired by LANXESS in 2021.

Lists combine the ease of Bookmarks with the versatility of Tags. Instead of one collection of bookmarked items, create as many collections, called "Lists," as you need.
Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
