Indovisco SGP-F20I 

Indovisco SGP-F20i is a pure processed eucheuma seaweed, a food grade natural product derived from the red seaweed belonging to class Rhodophyceae. It is a fine mesh food additive composed mainly of iota carrageenan that is specially developed for use as a thickening agent for food products that require medium viscosity after sterilization or for food products that require very soft elastic gels without water separation. This product's unique protein-complexing characteristic is effective for use as a suspending, emulsifying, thickening, and stabilizing agent for milk-based applications. It is highly stable in ambient conditions and is excellent for use in products that undergo freezing-and-thawing during processing and storage. Indovisco SGP-F20I is primarily used in sterilized products.




PT. Gumindo Perkasa Industri manufactures carrageenan derived from Eucheuma species grown and cultivated in the coastal areas of the Indonesian archipelago. They have three product series they market. They are the INDOVISCO SGP Series for viscosity applications, the INDOLACTA SGP Series for dairy applications and the INDOGEL SGP Series for gelling applications.
