Erythrosine is a cherry-pink synthetic dye, normally used for food coloring. Also known as Red No. 3 or E127, Erythrosine contains a light and alkali stability of 3 and a heat stability of 4. This product has a Color Index No. 45430 and is often used in sweets like candies, and even cake-decorating gels.
