Lalvin EC 1118® 

Lalvin EC 1118® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae bayanus strain, with fast fermentation speed, low nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 50-86 degrees Fahrenheit. It produces a neutral sensory effect and flocculates well with very compact lees. It is used primarily in the production of white wines, but may be used for red and Rosé varieties as well, and is good for in-bottle and barrel fermentation.
