Lalvin Rhône 4600® 

Lalvin Rhône 4600® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae bayanus strain, with moderate fermentation speed, low nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 55.4-71.6 degrees Fahrenheit. It produces an esters sensory effect, has a high alcohol tolerance, ferments high sugar musts well, and enhances wine fruitiness with pineapple and apricot aromas. It is used primarily for white and rosé wines, but may be used for red wines as well.
