Lalvin V1116® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain, with fast fermentation speed, medium nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit. It produces an esters sensory effect, tends to express freshness, and retain natural fresh fruit aromas. It can be used for red, rosé, or white wines, but is primarily used for ice, white varieties.
