Uvaferm BDX® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain, with moderate fermentation speed, medium-high nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 64-86 degrees Fahrenheit. Uvaferm BDX ® produces a enhanced varietal character sensory effect, and emphasizes color extraction characteristics while contributing body and mouthfeel. This product is used in the production of red wines, especially Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Zinfandel, Cabernet franc, and Syrah.
