This product is derived from decades of experience with Hallstar photo stabilization technology. Additionally, AvoBrite® provides film-forming capability due to the polymeric nature of its structure. The molecules of AvoBrite® were engineered so that an elegant skin feel can be achieved while enabling the easiest, most effective protection against UVA irradiation, which is increasingly important to consumers everywhere. AvoBrite® effectively quenches both the singlet and triplet excited states of Avobenzone molecules, eliminating all the usual photodegradation reactions commonly occurring in these energy rich states. Returning these excited states of Avobenzone quickly to their ground states, where absorption of incoming UV photons becomes possible yet again, increasing Avobenzone's filtering efficiency.
