Salicos is a natural sunscreen based on Karanja oil extract. It is an almost odorless with a pleasant nutty fragrance. This paraben free product possesses very good UVB absorbing properties and is insoluble in water and alcohols with solubility in non-polar organic solvents. In-vitro and In-vivo testing reported an SPF 30 and 20 respectively. It can be used in conjunction with inorganic sunscreens to obtain a higher SPF.
