Folic Acid is a yellow to yellow-orange crystalline, practically odorless powder. It is very slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, acetone, ether and chloroform, and readily soluble in solutions of alkali hydroxides and carbonates. Folic Acid is fairly stable to air, but somewhat sensitive to heat and light, especially to ultraviolet radiation. Neutral solutions are relatively stable. It is used for both food and dietetic products as well as solid and liquid pharmaceutical preparations. This product is not intended for use in the manufacture of sterile drug products. 收起
