GIOVAREZ® 1800 is the homopolymer of octadecyl vinyl ether. It is a 100% active, water insoluble, waxy, nonionic resin. Since it melts at about 45ºC, it can easily be incorporated into waxes where it can be utilized as a melting point depressant. It can be applied in mascara for volumizing and water resistance, in lipstick to provide gloss, and to increase volume in hair products. Other uses are indicated in pencils and stick products. 收起
