Polytone AP 117 is a para-tertiary butyl-phenol (PTBP) formaldehyde resin that is a part of the alkyl phenol family of organic compounds. This product is a heat reactive adhesive resin that has a dark violet color, delivered as small solid pieces and is formulated to be used in neoprene adhesives. It imparts low initial viscosity and stable viscous adhesives that are similar to the nature of this adhesive. This product is soluble in aromatic solvents including toluene, benzene, ketones and chlorinated hydrocarbon.
Polytone AP 117 is primarily used with adhesive grades of chloroprene that provides bonding strength at room or higher temperatures. This product is used as an additive in rubber, upholstery, shoe, leather, tacky tape, automotive and many other adhesives; it is also used in enamels, coatings and varnishes.

Adding Items
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
Create a New List
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
Multiple Lists
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Explore Your Lists
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
