Cassonade Extra Dark is an extra dark brown sugar obtained from a mixture of sugar crystals and candy syrup. Extra dark brown sugar can add a rich, sweet flavor to your beer with more residual impact than lighter varieties. You can use it to make Scottish and Irish ales, strong ales, barley wine and specialty beers.
