Tri-Sodium Citrate 

Tri-Sodium Citrate is a colorless or white crystalline powder, with a salty taste and no odor. It dissolves in ethanol, decomposes at temperatures higher than 302 degrees Fahrenheit, and tends to stabilize other ingredients in food. It is used as a preservative and flavor in many foods and beverages (especially club soda) and sometimes as an additive to Bratwurst.
