L-Threonine USP/FCC 

L-Threonine USP/FCC is an essential FCC grade amino acid that is synthesized in plants and microorganisms, and has a white crystal or crystalline powder appearance. It has a loss on drying ratio of less than 2% and a pH level of 5.2-6.2 with iron levels of less than 10ppm. Converted within the body to glycine, L-Threonine USP/FCC is known to aid in nervous system function. Cheese, soy, meats, fish and eggs and other high protein foods are all sources with high amounts of L-Threonine USP/FCC, and it is used in the food industry as a food fortifier in dietary supplements, and nutrition enhancer.
