4-Pentenoic Acid (448) is a colorless liquid with a cheese-like aroma. This product can only be used as a flavor and should NOT be used as a fragrance ingredient due to the absence of data necessary to perform an adequate safety evaluation per IFRA Safety Standards in Annex 1 of the Code of Practice. 4-Pentenoic Acid (448) can be used in butter, fruit and cheese flavors. It has a strong, dairy, aged cheese flavor character with some fruity backnotes. As a flavor it is used for aged cheese and other dairy type flavors, with acidic notes of a variety of fruits, tropical flavors, pineapple, apple, and berry flavors. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol.

Lists combine the ease of Bookmarks with the versatility of Tags. Instead of one collection of bookmarked items, create as many collections, called "Lists," as you need.
Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
