Pear Puree 

Pear Puree is made from fresh pears of the William variety, which are mashed, unpeeled and destoned. These pears are characteristic of an intense aroma and delicious taste. Pears contain vitamin C, calcium, vitamin B6 and potassium. They are very sweet because of their high content of fruit sugars. This puree has a minimum brix of 11, a pH ranging from 3.9 to 4.1, and has a minimum 500 ppm of vitamin C at production. It has found application in juices, soft drinks, nectar blends, smoothies, baby food, and baked goods.
