Emjel KVA 400 is a pregelatinized potato starch derivative, applied as binding and texturing agent for the manufacture of fruit fillings, fruit sauces, deep-frozen foods, mayonnaise and ketchup. The application of Emjel KVA 400 is possible up to a pH value of approx. 3,5 in combination with a heating process.

Emjel KVA 400 is applied as binding and texturing agent with good stabilising, deep freezing and baking properties for the manufacture of bakery and fruit fillings, deep frozen foods, ready meals, ketchup and mayonnaise. As thickening and stabilising agent with good binding properties this starch can be used in instant fruit sauces and dressing powders, juice binders for fruit fillings and as stabiliser for dairy products and cream preparations.
