Lalvin RC 212 (Bourgorouge)® 

Lalvin RC 212 (Bourgorouge)® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain, with moderate fermentation speed, medium nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 64.4-86 degrees Fahrenheit. It protects and stabilizes the color and tannins of the wine during fermentation, and produces ripe berry, bright fruit and spicy characteristics. It used in the production of red wines, especially Pinot noirs.
