Lalvin BM 4X4® 

Lalvin BM 4X4® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain, with a moderate fermentation speed, medium-to-high nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 60.8-82.4 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a mixture of Lalvin BM45® and another yeast known for its fermentation reliability. It creates a wine with increased aromatic intensity, color intensity, length of finish, and dependable fermentation. It also brings roundness to mouthfeel and facilitates malolactic fermentation. It is used in the production of both red and white wines.
