Uvaferm VRB ® is a wine fermenting yeast of the saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain, with moderate fermentation speed, medium nitrogen needs, and a temperature range of 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Uvaferm VRB ® produces a enhanced varietal character sensory effect, and emphasizes ripe fruit, jam, hazelnut, and dried plum characteristics while contributing body and mouthfeel. This product is used in the production of red wines.
