ETHOXCARE® PSA-11 is the polypropylene glycol ether of stearyl alcohol with an average of 15 repeating units of propylene glycol. It is an emollient and skin-conditioning agent that is medium/fast spreading with a light velvety feel. ETHOXCARE® PSA-11 is an excellent solvent for a wide range of actives and is ideal for use in facial cleansers. Since it is a completely saturated material, it is very stable and resistant to extreme pH conditions. ETHOXCARE® PSA-11 has a required HLB of about 6-8. 收起

In creams and lotions, it can be used alone as the sole emulsifier. For systems that are difficult to emulsify, it is an excellent choice. ETHOXCARE® BTMS-25 can emulsify systems that contain high levels of silicone. Because it is cationic, it is substantive to hair and skin. Hair care, it delivers excellent conditioning and improves wet and dry combing. ETHOXCARE® BTMS-25 can be used to create rinse-off conditioners as well as leave-on conditioners and detangling sprays.
