Lexgard® Natural MB is primarily effective against bacteria & yeast with some efficacy against mold. For added broad spectrum protection it can be combined with a strong yeast & mold control agent, like Spectrastat™ CHA (Caprylhydroxamic Acid). Lexgard® Natural MB is an emollient, co-emulsifier and skin re-fatting agent which is especially recommended for use in W/O or O/W emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions. It is recommended that Lexgard® Natural MB be used at concentrations of 1.0-1.5% w/w and is stable and effective at pH 4.0 - 8.0. It should be incorporated in the water phase during cool down or during the emulsification process. Lexgard® Natural MB contains 100% biobased content as certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Program, is COSMOS approved, and is approved for use in NSF/ANSI 305 certified personal care products. Olivatis™ 15 is a light yellow clear oil liquid, water-soluble pure italian olive oil produced by an exclusive trans-esterification process where part of the glyceric fraction of olive oil is substituted by ethoxylated vegetal glycerol. This process results in a superior product with a clear color, a practically undetectable odor, free of impurities and suitable for shampoos, shower gels, transparent aqueous tonics and splashes, mild cleansing foams, liquids gels, make-up-removers and aqueous or hydro alcoholic solutions of any type, at 1-5 % concentrations. As it is partially miscible with plant oils too, Olivatis™ 15 is applied to butters and butter-like products whenever a light, non tacky, silky feel is desired.
