It is suggested to be used in white pigmented formulations, the curing of glass fiber reinforced polyester/styrene systems, and for clearcoats of outdoor use in combinations with light stabilizers. With low concentrations of this white-yellowish powder, it can reach an excellent curing performance in highly opaque white and colored furniture coatings or screen inks containing titanium dioxide or colored pigments, and presents minimum yellowing after exposure to sufficient amounts of UV radiation. In addition, it allows curing of thick sections due to the outstanding absorption. view less
Doublecure® 107 Double Bond Chemical Ind., Co., Ltd. 双键化工股份有限公司 Doublecure® 107 is a Norrish-type Ι photoinitiator specially designed for the pigmented UV curing system. Since its introduction to market, this photoinitiator has rapidly gained its popularity in the application of UV ink and solder mask. Doublecure® 107, when irradiating with UV light, undergoes a homolytic and intramolecular type of breakage to generate a pair of free radicals to initiate the polymerization of UV curable systems. This white crystalline powder is strongly recommended for the pigmented UV system due to its strong absorbance (ε= 18,600 at 305 nm) in the wavelength region usually blocked by the commonly used pigments, such as TiO2...view more Doublecure® 107 is a Norrish-type Ι photoinitiator specially designed for the pigmented UV curing system.
