It can be used in combination with amino resins or blocked polyisocyanates for waterborne, one-component, industrial baking coatings. This product has an acid value of 10 ± 3, a viscosity at 23°C, (D = approx. 40 s-1) of 950 ± 550, and a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C/ convection oven) of 45 ± 2. Bayhydrol® A 145 has good pigment wetting properties and high shear stability. Bead mills have proved suitable as grinding equipment. Only pigments and extenders with a minimal water-soluble content should be used. Bayhydrol® A 145 combined with aliphatic polyisocyanates yields high-gloss topcoats which can be dried at room temperature or force-dried, e.g. at 80°C. The cured paint films are hard and flexible with good single-coat adhesion and good resistance to solvents and water. view less

This product has a pH (1:3 in demineralised water) value of 8-9, an acid value of 8-11.2, and a hydroxyl content solvent-free, calculated to approx. 3. Bayhydrol® A 2651, combined with aliphatic polyisocyanates is well suited for the formulation of high gloss and matt clear 2K polyurethane coatings, as well as pigmented coatings. The product was developed in particular for the formulation of two-component wood coating systems. It is characterized by very good film transparency and high wood warmth. Crosslinking with Bayhydur® XP 2487/1 or XP 2655 yields coatings with very high chemical resistance. view less

It is used as a coreactant for Bayhydur® and Desmodur® polyisocyanates in the formulation of aqueous two-component polyurethane systems for various applications by brush, roller or spray. This product has a viscosity at 23°C, (D = approx. 165 s-1) of 200 ± 100, a non-volatile content (1g, 1h, 125°C) of 42 ± 2, and a pH (10% in demineralized water) value of 7.1 ± 0.7. Bayhydrol® A 242 is a water-thinnable hydroxyfunctional polyacrylic resin with emulsifying properties. It is neutralised with ammonia. Given the special composition of this product, both hydrophilic polyisocyanates, e.g. Bayhydur® 3100, and hydrophobic grades, such as Desmodur® N 3400 and others, are suitable co-reactants. The resultant water-thinnable two-component system cures to yield a polyurethane film with good general properties, and only a small-scale polyurea reaction takes place. view less
Bayhydrol® A 2542 Covestro (formerly Bayer MaterialScience) 科思创 Bayhydrol® A 2542 is an anionic polyacrylate dispersion that has a waterborne, low VOC two-component polyurethane coatings in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates.
