It is easily soluble in several organic solvents such as high alcohol, ketones, esters, chlorinated solvent, aromatic hydrocarbons, and white gasoline. PChem® MB-9-A can be used as its modifying agent, based on its good compatibility with middle/long oil alkyd resin. It is also compatible with chlorinated paraffin, PVC resin, and it offers admirable pigment wet-ability. PChem® MB-9-A is applied to plastic coatings, alkyd modified coatings, leather finishes, metal coatings, and gilding material coatings (adhesive layer), PVC printing inks and coatings.
