It was designed to meet medium to high performance and durability requirements of waterbased industrial and architectural coatings including UV-curable systems. This slightly yellow dispersion is especially suitable for all medium-performance water-based acrylic and PUD dispersions with low- to zero-VOC requirement where the use of benzotriazole UV absorbers is technically possible or where Tinuvin® 1130 is used and needs to be replaced due to labeling issues. view less

It was especially designed for solvent-based clear or semi-transparent coatings over carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) or glass-fiber-reinforced plastics (GFRP) where fibers are embedded in an epoxy matrix. This yellow powder is used in coatings over carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) or glassfiber-reinforced plastics (GFRP) embedded in an epoxy matrix. It is also used in general for coatings or substrates needing protection up to 420 nm. This product is also used for coatings over substrates very sensitive to UV-A. view less

This resin is also useful in adhesive applications. Versamid® 115 and epoxy resin systems provide excellent resistance properties, adhesion and superior corrosion resistance.
They are more solvent and chemical resistant than Versamid® 100 systems and generally dry faster than Versamid® 125 systems. Versamid® 115 and epoxy resin systems are recommended for applications such as: maintenance coating applications; primers; and enamel paint formulations. view less

Versamid® 150 is a low viscosity, reactive polyamide resin designed for use with solid or liquid epoxy resins to provide tough, chemical resistance to thermoset coating and potting applications that cure at room temperature. It is a polyamide resin based on dimerized fatty acid and polyamines. Versamid® 150 and epoxy resin systems offer significantly lower viscosity than Versamid® 140 systems, while its chemical and solvent resistance, flexural strength and compressive strength properties are similar.
Versamid®150 systems will normally provide a faster cure rate and slightly less flexibility than Versamid® 140 systems. This product and epoxy resin systems are recommended for applications such as: industrial maintenance surface coating applications; primers, encapsulating potting and laminating applications; and low viscosity, thermoset adhesive formulations. view less
