NuovoCare™ 1%

NuovoCare™ 1% is a linear 1,3-β glucan obtained via fermentation of a marine bacterium. 1,3-β glucan is a naturally occurring polysaccharide that is recognized by immune cells and is a known biological response modifier and immune stimulator. The amount of 1,3-β linkages varies in beta glucans from different sources. NuovoCare™ contains up to 75% 1,3-β glycosidic bonds compared to approximately 30% in beta glucan from sources such as oat and mushroom. Accordingly, NuovoCare™ demonstrates strong anti-inflammatory, skin repair, and anti-oxidant potential. It also provides moisturization and anti-wrinkle benefits.
