Fullerene on its own is insoluble in water and thus not an ideal ingredient for personal care applications. Vitamin C60 BioResearch Corporation found a way around that by encasing fullerene in water-soluble polymers. These are the effects of the complex polysaccharides unique to Torula yeast, which have been shown in clinical trials to have an excellent skin feel improvement.
