ADIPO-TRAP from Phenbiox is produced using sundew, a plant characterized by glandular tentacles, topped with sticky secretions, that cover its leaves/trap. The sundew is able to move its tentacles in response to contact with prey. Sundew phytocomplex is able to modulate adipocyte metabolism acting as a slimming, re-shaping and anti-cellulite active ingredient. During in vitro tests performed using preadipocyte and adipocyte, ADIPO-TRAP was able to prevent fat accumulation and to reduce the adipocyte size, showing an efficient lipolysis effect.
