AURIST™ AGC conditioning biopolymer is a readily biodegradable cationic hair and skin conditioning polymer supplied in liquid form with applications in hair care, and skin and body wash applications. Testing shows that AURIST™ AGC can significantly improve wet and dry combability in haircare formulations, and suitable for use in sulfate-free shampoo formulations. In skin and body wash applications, it can significantly improve skin conditioning and rinsability. AURIST™ AGC conditioning biopolymer can form completely transparent formulations including with anionic ingredients, and does not require pH neutralization. It is cold processable, with no pre-mix required. When added to foaming pump package, it does not clog the nozzle. Spectrastat™ PG is a multi-functional agent that provides antimicrobial control in cosmetic and personal care products. Spectrastat™ PG contains no biocides or traditional preservatives. It creates a fungistatic environment that prevents growth of microorganisms. It is primarily effective against yeast & mold and can be combined with a bacteria control agent, like Lexgard Natural GC88 MB (Glyceryl Caprylate) or Lexgard® O (Caprylyl Glycol) for broad spectrum protection. Spectrastat™ PG is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level of 1.0 - 2.0% (w/w). Spectrastat™ PG is cold processable and water soluble and can be used in emulsion, anhydrous, and surfactant systems. These include creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics. It may be added to the water phase, at ambient or hot temperatures, or may be added post-emulsification of O/W emulsions. view less
