LIPEX® 102 is composed of refined vegetable oil taken from the fruit of Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii). It contains a relatively high amount of unsaponifiable matter and is processed to be very light in color. This product is especially produced for cosmetics and dermatological applications. LIPEX® 102 finds application in skin care formulations including creams, lotions, sun care products, massage creams, and ointments. It has a saponification matter of 7%, a hydroxyl value of 5mg KOH/g, and a slip melting point of 31°C. view less
