The product was developed to enable the incorporation of a silicone wax into aqueous skin care and cosmetic products (see SeraSoft SW 70 for the 100% active version). This product can be incorporated into aqueous formulations with low shear mixing, and as no heating is required, can be used with cold processes. view less

In addition to this, SeraSoft SW 70’s compatibility with other organic materials gives it many uses in other skin care products as well as colour cosmetics, where it offers the additional benefit of excellent shine from its high refractive index. For water-based products, this material is available as a 35% emulsion, SeraSoft EM 701, for where cold processing is essential. view less
