CAPSURETINOL PF is an aqueous based polymeric microcapsule of 3% encapsulated pure Retinol (10% retinol solubilized in soybean oil) for cosmetic use. This product is free of chemicals of concern such as formaldehyde, and acrylates, among others. It is dispersible in water without any external surfactant. During application, the product releases retinol through the controlled breakage of some capsules when rubbed onto the skin. However, some of the capsules remain in the skin's wrinkles, providing a prolonged local effect that intensifies the activity and results in a long-lasting effect. This product should be used as anti-aging and skin regenerating in skin care formulations such as serums, creams, and lotions. view less

This product is free of chemicals of concern such as BHA, BHT, formaldehyde, acrylates, parabens, and phenoxyethanol, among others. CAPSURETINOL UHC ensures high encapsulation stability of retinol against early degradation and undesired interactions with external surfactants. It is primarily effective against yeast & mold and can be combined with a bacteria control agent, like Lexgard Natural GC88 MB (Glyceryl Caprylate) or Lexgard® O (Caprylyl Glycol) for broad spectrum protection. Spectrastat™ PG is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level of 1.0 - 2.0% (w/w). Spectrastat™ PG is cold processable and water soluble and can be used in emulsion, anhydrous, and surfactant systems. These include creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics.
