Biogod is an amphiphilic Glycolipid molecule with a Disaccharide Sophorose as a hydrophilic part and a long chain fatty acid as hydrophobic part. Synthesized using non-pathogenic yeast fermentation process and hence an ecofriendly alternative to synthetic surfactants, SL is superior in performance on the count of better interfacial and emulsification capabilities, in a broad range of temperature/ pH/salinity.
