Bisomer® S20 W is an aqueous solution of a long chain methacrylate monoester based on an ethylene oxide backbone. It is water soluble and contains approximately 45 EO units within the chain. This product has a water content of 48-52%, an inhibitor (MEHQ) content of 0.22-0.28%, and an acidity - methacrylic acid of 0.1% max. Bisomer® S20 W is an excellent material to impart water solubility or water dispersibility within non-ionic organic molecules. Due to its low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg), it is also an excellent flexibilising molecule. It is ideal in water-based automotive coatings, alkyd dispersions, polyurethane dispersions (PUDs), soil stabilising hydrogels, flocculating agents, anaerobic adhesives and water-based pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs). This product is non-toxic and supplied as a 50% active solution in water as the undiluted product is a wax-like solid.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.

You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
