Doublecure® 1172

Doublecure® 1172 is a cationic photoinitiator based on sulphonium chemistry. No detectable benzene is generated when it is utilized to induce the polymerization of epoxides and other cation polymerizable materials upon exposure to UV light. This product is compatible with most cationic UV systems and is ideal for thin and clear coatings on metal, plastic, and paper. It appears as a light yellow liquid with a very faint odor.
