Phytexcell Balm Mint is a leaf extract of Melissa officinalis that provides anti-aging, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Balm Mint belongs to the Lamiaceae plant family. The leaves are reported to have a sedative effect. Caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid do have slight bactericidal and anti-oxidative effects. Cosmetically, this product is recommended for use in sun protection, anti-ageing care and sensitive skin care applications.
