TEQUARD SP blend of organic acids that can be used for the gentle preservation for personal care products, with strong, broad-spectrum effectiveness against bacteria, yeast, and mold. This mild blend is compliant with many natural certification requirements. Suggested use is %1 to 2 for formulations both of leave on and rinse off with pH <6,0. The preservative activity is maximized at pH 4,5 to 5,0 where the actives are in their undissociated states as their respective organic acids and act in a complementary nature by suppressing the growth and spore germination of bacteria and molds respectively. This mild blend is compliant with many natural certification requirements; Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate are among the few preservatives allowed by ECOCERT, BDIH, the Soil Association, Natrue, and COSMOS view less
