Macadamia oil is composed of 80% monounsaturated fatty acids, such as: oleic, linoleic, palmitic, stearic and myristic acids. Palmitoleic acid is the most abundant fatty acid and corresponds to 22%. In addition, macadamia oil has B complex vitamins, vitamin A and E in its composition. Palmitoleic acid has pronounced anti-inflammatory activity important in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
